Initially a para-tennis player at international level, Asiya Mohammed, who has overcome many challenges as a Kenyan physically disabled woman and has experienced lack of funding and support, is living and training in a Hotel complex with her team and focused now on intense training in preparation for the Paralympic Games, where she will arrive as a medal contender, after qualifying for the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games only two years after developing interest in the sport of rowing.
